Collection: All Herbs | Spices

We source our bulk botanicals from a combination of small farms who specialize in growing herbs, and trusted distributors who work with farmers globally. While our stock is almost entirely made up of certified organic botanicals, we occasionally carry limited batches of local naturally grown or ethically wild harvested items. 

When you shop online:

• You can purchase herbs in 1oz, 2oz, or 4oz bags. To make it easier for you to choose, we've included approximate volume per ounce in each individual herb listing
• All botanicals ship in brown kraft fold over bags with plant-based liners. These are commercially compostable - just remove the tie and label before composting. Alternatively, you can return the empty bag to the shop and we'll compost it for you
• Unless otherwise noted, we are unable to accommodate bulk orders of more than 4oz per herb per order, but we hope to add this service in the future

When you shop in person:

• Herbs are available by weight, with a 1/4 oz minimum per herb
• Botanicals are bagged in brown paper bags made of recycled material. It's best to put these herbs in an airtight container when you get home
• If you prefer, you can purchase jars in the shop to fill, or bring your own containers
• Join our Jar Club! Get a stamp for each container you bring in to refill. Get 10 stamps and get $5 off your next order, or give the card back to us and we'll donate $5 to one of the organizations we support (your choice)
