It's Ozztober!
This month we will be honoring the legend Ozzy Osbourne. Ozzy is one of Mike's all-time favorites, and he's excited to share Ozzy's music with you all, and also clear up some misconceptions about The Prince of Darkness.
Mike is trying to pick which albums best show off the life work of Ozzy, so the albums are currently TBA. You'll find out what he chose on Oct. 3rd!
Turntable Tea Party is collab event between us and Reverberation Records Records (that's Mike!)
At the Turntable Tea Party, we feature a specific record or records, and we share a special release tea that goes along with the album we feature. We hang out and listen to the album together, drink tea, and talk. Mike usually shares a bunch of interesting facts about whatever band we're listening to!
Join us in celebrating music, stories, tea, and community. Come for the whole event or come whenever you can. Meet new friends or spend time with old ones!
Mike will be setting up a mini pop-up record shop with copies of the record we're playing each month, plus more by the same artist, and a curated collection of "you may also like" type albums for sale. It changes every month, so even if you can't stay for the whole album, come by and see what he picked for you this month.
This is also a great time to pick up any online orders you placed with Mike, and save on shipping!
Can't make it in person? Each month (supply dependent), you'll find a listing here on our website for the record we played that month and a 1oz bag of special release tea to go along with it, so you can have your own personal listening party at home.
October Turntable Tea Party is on Friday September 3rd and features Ozzy Osbournes! Featuring albums TBA.
Each Turntable Tea Party goes from around 6pm until around 8pm, with the record going on around 6:15. Reservations aren't required, and you can drop in anytime, but if you know for sure that you're coming, let us know so we can save you a seat.
Note! There will be no Turntable Tea Party in July!
