For Earth Month, we’re did a game: Earth Month Bingo. Part challenge, part self-accountability, and part “maybe I’ll win a prize”.
At the Alewife Festival over the weekend, the Green Action Exeter group let us put an updated version of Earth Bingo on their table, and now we're sharing it with you here!
Today (or any day) is a good time to challenge ourselves to live more intentionally when it comes to being sustainable. Even those of us who feel like we live “green” can benefit from checking in with ourselves, our households, and our practices, and see where we can make any changes.
Each square contains a sustainable action. You get a BINGO when you complete the 5 activities listed in one vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line. The middle is a super easy one: make any sustainable purchase here in the shop (or online if you’re not local to us). This can be anything from refilling a container to purchasing a bar of shampoo. Even bringing your own mug to buy a cup of tea could count! Some sustainable purchases could even count towards other actions.
Save or screenshot the game to play. Mark off each action that you complete this month (May 2025). If the action item is a switch that you’ve previously made and continue to do through this month, it counts! Mark off that square.
Show us the card by 05/30/25: each complete BINGO is an entry to win a $25 gift card to Alchemy & Herbs. Drawing will be chosen at random on 05/31/25. You don’t have to be present to win - we’ll reach out on social media.
